• Training and Consulting: Herb leads trainings in communication, teambuilding, personal and leadership development and valuing personality differences to a wide range of businesses in fields as varied as financial services, healthcare, manufacturing and social services agencies. He also leads courses in conflict resolution, coaching and counseling techniques for managers, managing difficult employees, effective communication skills, and stress management. He has led trainings and consulted for the U.S. Navy, Bell Atlantic Telephone Company, Digital Corporation, Lotus Corporation, the Young Presidents Organization, numerous national and international conferences, colleges and universities, corporations and training centers.

• Executive Coaching: Herb coaches executives and managers to understand and utilize personality strengths, develop self-understanding and improve communication with others. This leads to self-clarity, better relationships and enhanced problem-solving skills.

• Team Development: Herb works with numerous teams in organizations to improve communication, productivity, group cohesion and job satisfaction. He helps team members to understand their personality strengths and practice strategies that improve performance, gives feedback to team members regarding group dynamics, and coaches participants to practice skills to improve communication with other team members based on personality dynamics. • Public Speaking: Herb is a frequent speaker at human resource association meetings, corporations, conferences, real estate association meetings, accountants association meetings, mental health associations, churches, schools, singles organizations.

• Individual, Couples and Family Counseling: Herb counsels and coaches individuals, couples and family members on personal and relationship development, goal clarification and improving communication. His specialty is in understanding and valuing personality differences and communicating effectively to all types. See Counseling.

• Media: Herb won a major award "The Best Cable TV Show in Massachusetts" for a local cable TV show he co-hosted called "Personal Relationships." He has appeared as a guest on numerous TV and radio shows. He has been the subject of numerous articles in newspapers and magazines including Boston Magazine, the Boston Globe and Cosmopolitan. He wrote a feature article on the Enneagram for Mademoiselle magazine.

• Education: Herb has an M.Ed. in Counseling plus one year beyond the Masters in Counseling. He has extensive certification training in both the Enneagram and the Myers-Briggs and attends many professional trainings.

• Experience: Herb has led over 3000 workshops and trainings during the last 23 years. He as taught, counseled and consulted with many thousands of individuals and continues to receive excellent feedback. He is highly skilled as a communicator, is very perceptive and delivers with humor, directness, and empathy.
